While transporting a patient to South Baltimore General Hospital, Firefighter Lawrence J. Corcoran, lost control of the ambulance he was driving, the ambulance slid on wet pavement, crashed into a sign post, and fatally injured Firefighter Corcoran. Firefighter Lawrence J.
