EVICK, Ralph A.
While on duty as Engine Co.6's hired driver/firefighter, Herald Harbor VFD's past Chief, Ralph A .Evick , suffered a fatal heart attack. He was found in the station by Baltimore Gas and Electric Company employees and fire department personnel transported Chief Evick to Anne Arundel General Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Past Chief Ralph Alston Evick was 50 years old and had served 15 years.
