WEEKS, James P.
While on duty and participating in daily physical fitness training, Firefighter James P.Weeks suffered a seizure, collapsed, and deteriorated into cardiac arrest. CPR was immediately initiated, Paramedics summoned to the scene, and Firefighter Weeks was transported to the hospital. All resuscitation attempts by EMS and hospital staff were unsuccessful. Firefighter Weeks had served as a Baltimore City Firefighter from 1970 to 1978 before joining the ranks of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department in 1978.
