HEALES, Howard A.
Engine Co. 58 & Truck Co. 21 responded to a silent alarm. Investigating, they found it to be a steam leak. Acting Lt. Heales had inched his way under a low crawl space to locate leak. After returning to quarters, he complained of chest pains and was transported to hospital where he succumed to a heart attack.
