After fighting an attic fire on Wilkins Avenue, Captain Martin Kleinsmith (T-8) , walked outside into the backyard of the residence, sat down on a bench, and collapsed. He was transported to St. Agnes Hospital. Sadly, he was pronounced dead.

Captain Martin Kleinsmith was 53 years old .
