RIEDEL, Frederick L.

May 15, 1934 Box No. 8421 sounded for an automobile on fire at St. Paul & 20th Streets. Salvage Corps Wagon No. 3 was responding when it collided with a police radio car at Gold & Division Streets. Regularman Frederick L. Riedel, riding the backstep, was hurled over the wagon, landed in the street on his head, and was killed. Regularman Frederick L. Reidel was 33 years old and had served for 10 years.
