ARTHUR, Eddie
June 1, 1991 Firefighter Eddie Arthur was on the back step of a ladder truck, secured with a safety strap, and instructing a trainee on how to tiller a hook & ladder truck. While making a U-turn in a parking lot, the tillerman trainee lost control, the rear of the truck swung around and struck a light pole, crushing and fatally injuring Firefighter Arthur. Firefighter Eddie Arthur was 37 years old. Number of years served are unknown art this time.
