BLACKSTOCK, Francis W.

Firefighter D/O Francis W. Blackstock (Truck Co. No. 3) returned to quarters from a Spring Street fire on a very hot July day where he remained on duty until relieved by the oncoming shift. Firefighter Blackstock went home, collapsed from a heart attack, and was transported to the hospital. Sadly, he died a few hours later. Firefighter Francis Wilford Blackstock was 49 years old. Number of years served are unknown at this time.
