ALMONY, John
Captain John Almony & Percy G. Naylor had traveled to Baltimore to check on the repair work being done on Hereford VFC's 1928 American LaFrance. They were returning home & were traveling on Harford Road when a vehicle struck Captain Almony's car, causing it to roll over ,crushing Captain Almony's head. He was transported my a municipal ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Percy Naylor was not injured. Captain John V. Almony was 34 years old. Number of years served is unknown at this time.
