MAGUE Sr., James J.

Ironsides Volunteer Rescue Squad Member James J. Mague,Sr. suffered a fatal heart attack while working at a fund-raiser. He found his love for EMS late in life and, although he lived 20 miles from station, he was as active as if he lived in. At the time of his death he was an EMT student. When at the scene of an emergecy, he was calm, focused, and could always be depended on to make right decisions. Family was important to him and they knew the IVRS meant the world to him. Jim will be remembered not as someone the Ironsides Volunteer Rescue Squad lost, but as someone they found. Ironsides Volunteer Rescue Squad Member James J. Mague, Sr. was 61 years old and had served 2 years.
