Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company ~ Baltimore County ~ Maryland

February 21,1933

On the morning of Tuesday February 21, 1933, while responding to a reported car fire on the campus of Rosewood Training School, Firefighter John D. Kane fell from the aparatus ,sustained a fractured skull, and was transported by ambulance to the University of Maryland Hospital. Sadly, Firefighter Kane died from his injuries later that same evening.

Firefighter John D. Kane was 47 years old. Number of years served is unknown at this time.
