STROUP, Howard M.
While returning from a fire alarm on Citizens Truck Company Ladder 4, Captain Howard M. Stroup slumped over from an apparent heart attack. He was transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital where resuscitative efforts were unsuccessful. Captain Stroup was active in both the Citizens Truck Company No. 4 and Junior Fire Co.
